cheaters watch day #2

again, episodes of cheaters i have already seen. but today is one of my favourites: during the confrontation, the cheated on woman is yelling "why" at the cheating man. but the way she is yelling makes it sound like she's in his face going "quack! quack!" then she chases him out of a building and thru a parking lot screaming "why you runnin? what you runnin from?"
if i had a 300 some-odd pound woman chasing me, i'd try to outrun her too...

(side note, i just made the most perfect fried eggs i have ever seen)

updating is just such a task

i've been doing nothing all day long for many days now. friends have come to town and slept on my couch- too bad it was before my apartment stopped being a pressure cooker. ishi sputnik has moved into the rabbitat and uses the ramps and litter box very well.

i've been thinking about things i could possibly do. go to school for entertainment law; figure out what one would need to do to become an umpire for major league baseball; make stencils of breakfast foods and ramen noodles; stare at the dishes in the sink. however, thinking about doing these things is in no way leading me to actually doing these things. i just kinda go "hmmmm" and leave it at that.

this office drives me nuts. 3p hits and all i can think about is how the next three hours are going to tick away slower than sap running down a tree trunk and how lucky i am that i get to listen to my coworkers talk about how awesome they are because they invented the internet/15 hour work days/retail sales. in addition, it seems that the cats have taken to playing with my earplugs, so one is missing and the other is disgusting. awesome!

who wants to go to the beach?

blogpod vs. livejournal

grant and i were discussing how my blog over at blogpod.com is a pain to read because navigating blogpod is a bitch if you're not a member.

but this livejournal is so ugly i'm not sure how long i'll be able to keep it up. and, the personal editing options here at livejournal are terrible in comparison to blogpod.

update:

1. told hip record label 'no thanks, keep your low paying job'
2. lost 20 pounds
3. pete went on tour while i sat around bored

bought a grill last week and had a BBQ for jared's birthday. thanks to pete and grant for providing goods for the Q. a nice group of folks showed up to hang out and eat in the yard- and grant's pal laura brought me a totally awesome thermos. which i was a bit odd about. i'm not used to people bringing me gifts just for having parties...

tyler, mary ellen, grant, jared and i all went to six flags yesterday. i don't remember too much about rides- other than getting mary ellen to go on american eagle three times. and then we were stuck in the parking lot of six flags for an hour after the park closed. everyone was totally exhausted by the time we got back to logan square. it was kinda like being a little kid and having the day's activity completely drain your mind and body. but good times nonetheless.
